How much should the replacement of a coolant thermostat in a Ford Focus cost?

thermostats cost between $15 , $50. replacement takes approximately 30 minutes. if shop charges full hour @ $100 per hour , has 20% mark on $50 thermostat (worse case scenario), should cost no more $160.

replacing thermostat on cars 1 of simplest replacements do. 2 bolts, , may have clean off old gasket replace new one... person not mechanically inclined should take no more hour. if want yourself, go buy thermostat @ local parts store. people work @ parts store glad print out step step instructions on how replace it, point out on car , explain you. loan tools free if dont have proper tools. make sure car cooled down before work on (or burned), , have bucket ready catch coolant spill out.
