depending upon live, can find great artists smaller venues or bars. saw travis tritt 40 dollars @ local casino 2 years ago. saw brooks , dunn @ same casino 45 dollars. there house concert series need 'house concerts' in geographic area. saw slaid cleaves 25 dollars @ house concert , close , personal can get!

check out local music scene, house of blues etc if have large music or guitar center, many of them host concerts. you'd surprised can see reasonable price.

i looking @ cost 1 direction concert , ton of money there concert american band , dont think on tour , friends went it.
