on summer afternoon
bud , wandering

rusty iron spikes,
show
having beaten our bikes.

headed home
when see
great big locomotive
bearing down on him , me!

first thing panic
wonder if real
pick direction run
hustle out zeal!

train fast us;
thought dead;
thru power of friday 13th
woke in our beds.

"no more of $hit me", said he.
