haven't read book, though "heart" refer when feel love, compassion, morality , understanding. follow our heart , describe head , heart 2 different things in conflict each other. in fact same thing. both mind. gain our lust, love, morality , compassion etc mind.

if religious come soul morality, love, compassion etc. "heart" has no real influence.
