Can you put polyurethane on ceramic tiles?

it's best not put on ceramic tiles non-absorbant. if want try, buy small container of stone sealer & enhancer , brush on small area in inconspicuous spot see how looks how holds up.

coating ceramic you're asking maintenence problems in future.

i have thin rope border tiles dull, notice when wet them scrub left on grout out of lines, shiny , pretty. made me wonder if coat them polyurethane make them "pop"?
