16 year old, Eye sight getting worse. Is this normal ?

16 years old , turn 17 in may. every 3 months or eye sight seems worse.
current eye sight sph= -3.00 cyl=-0.25 axes=85 degrees v.a.= 6/6
left eye , of right eye similar.
eyesight around sph= -2.25 around 6 months before , around sph= -1.75 year before.

can't see beyond hands stretched out without blurriness , can't recognize person face medium distance without glasses.i use smartphone+computer around 4 hours day.

question:- normal ?, should take precautions preserve eyesight. should consider laser surgery , when able it.


, i've been finding little harder focus @ things ever since got new glasses current eyesight stated above.
