Why does Canada's government provide healthcare for it's citizens?

because canadians want them to. elect politicians continue programs , support them through willingness pay higher provincial taxes. have politicians , systems trust run such programs.

government not magical entity in canada. elected officials set out policies, laws, , programs. government of people. if canadians don't or doesn't want... typically replace it.

why canada's government provide health care , other services it's citizens?
