Do you need head cement for fly tying?

if whip finish fly 4 wraps...then whip finish 3 wraps...no not need use head cement.....you can use sally hanson's hard nails fingernail polish substitute , it's available @ dollar store $1.....i use when done tying giant streamers....gives head of fly shinny appearance , works better head cement..........

im going start fly tying , know of need friend. need head cement tie flies, b tying bass, panfish, , trout flies?
