What tablet should I get?

have ipad 1 right , love it. unfortunately getting point apps crash, , won't updated in terms of ios. have iphone, prefer apple products in terms of tablets phones , music players. open other tablets, none of tablets i've seen far come close ipad. i'm not sure if want full sized tablet or smaller one. looking @ either waiting pro version of surface, ipad 4, nexus 7, or ipad mini. @ first ruled out mini because of lack of retina display , processor used, have coupon $100 dollars off makes cost around should be. tablet should get? coupon applies full ipad, cost factor if can away spending less preferred. also, aren't tablets consider, please let me know if recommend another. tablet used around web surfing, videos, games, apps, , possibly hooked electronics in house either stream music , movies (like airplay on apple tv) or control things (like universal remote)
