I am having ham for supper. But I want a different potato dish. does any one have ideas?

husband demands funeral potatoes ham. it's , pretty easy too.

funeral potatoes
7-8 potatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cp milk
1 cp sour cream
1/2 cp green onion
1 cp shredded cheddar
salt & pepper

boil potatoes till done, peel , shred. (you can slice them prefer them shredded). place shredded potatoes in 9x12 baking dish.

in bowl combine soup, milk, sour cream, salt & pepper till blended. gently stir in green onions , cheese. pour concoction on potatoes. don't try stir potatoes, sort of lift potatoes , let of sauce run under them. can stir them better later when they're hot.

bake @ *350 30 min. top cup or of cheese , bake till it's melted.
