Do I need to sharpen my skates?

they'll fine unless they've rusted. next year, rub wd-40 or vaseline on edges before storing skates. if see rust, yes, them sharpened remove rust , prevent damaging blade further.

rule of thumb sharpen blades after 20-30 hours of use, more if skating outdoors of if don't wear guards off-ice.

i got skates sharpened earlier year , used skates twice , haven't used them since february. i'm going skating tomorrow, need sharpen skates again?
