Why are other races aware of white privilege, but white Americans are not?

it's combination of alot of reasons.

-when have had , way of life it's hard see "greatness" lies within it. (for example, running water. americans have running water...no big deal right? in countries of population not. see mean?)

-it has ignorance (and don't mean negatively speaking). it's hard understand differences between people if not have "real" understanding of other people , lives.

-also, think alot of people have whole "you can anything" in america attitude. while not false assumption free country. statement unjustly implies born equal opportunites , not true. peole born better , more secure family puts them ahead of else.

this question on sociology homework, not quite sure of answer though. wondering if me out it
