1 of important things should work on staying on pitch. pitch means how high or low note is. there tons of youtube videos work on this. search "how sing on pitch", or "how match pitch". try out of videos, practice matching pitches play on guitar or piano (or if don't have one, play note on website: http://www.virtualpiano.net/ ). hold out note while try sing same one. once you're @ that, when try sing, see if can slow song down enough try , match pitches go by.
