Which weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold?

pound pound pound pound...ad nausium.

reminds me of question, "which weighs more, pound of white feathers or pound of black feathers." (this assumes average black feathers weigh more average white feather.) in fact, both weigh same! pound pound pound, (if weighed on same scale, of course.)

p.s.: yes, there air among feathers, air under weighing surface pushing as air above pushing down, example, air weighs nothing!
