What's the purpose of going through a company for a mutual fund when you can just buy s&p500 shares?
etf "spy" vs. s&p500 mutual fund. internal fees lower (generally) etf.
you'll vanguard & ishares etf version of spy cheaper spy.
mutual fund (like vanguard s&p 500) have little more internal fees. around $100 year $100,000.00 (i'm assuming .10 difference in fee.
if make 1 purchase of etf can worth (especially liquidity during trading day). however, if you're making regular investments..... fees of broker etf can kill you. optionhouse may waive fees on etf's.
btw: optionhouse broker.... think may not place new investor.
luck.
like what's point of using usaa's mutual fund when can go through optionshouse's trading platform , buy spy stock? i'm pretty new investing.
