I was just offered somewhat of a job posting adds on ebay, is this a scam?


100% scam.

there no job.

there scammer trying steal hard-earned money , maybe freedom.

next email of scammer's fake names , free email addresses pretending "assistant" , supply stock photos of merchandise. suppose open ebay, paypal , craigslists accounts in name, advertise merchandise, collect money in name , send cash onto scammer via western union or moneygram.

scammer never ship buyers, real life job of paying them back, plus pay fees ebay , paypal. ip banned ebay, paypal , craigslists. paypal-linked bank account or credit card permenantly closed , blacklisted ever opening account @ bank. being ip banned scamming real reason scammer can't post on ebay or craigslist or other auction/selling site.

western union , moneygram not verify on form sender fills out, not name, not street address, not country, not gender of receiver, means absolutely nothing. clerk not bother check id , hand off cash whomever walks in door mtcn# , question/answer. neither company tell sender picked cash, @ store location or in country money walked out door. neither company has kind of refund policy, money sent money gone forever.

"paycheck" receive fake , bounce. in fact scammer might try steal more of money saying "accidentally" sent check made out "too money". demand cash large fake check sent on stolen ups/fedex billing account number , send of "money" via western union or moneygram scammer. when bank realizes check fake , bounces, real life job of paying bank bounced check fees , bank's money sent overseas criminal.

have responded scammer, on 'potential sucker' list, try again separate cash. send more emails other free email addresses using of fake names kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in bank , desperate, lonely, sexy singles. sell email address scamming buddies send dozens of fake emails exact same goal, sending them cash via western union or moneygram.

know how check header of received email? if not, google information. being able read header determine geographic location email originated weed out obvious scams , scammers. delete , block scammer. don't bother tell him know scammer, isn't worth effort. has 1 job in life, convincing victims send him hard-earned cash.

whenever suspicious or plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, email addresses, partial sentences emails might unpleasantly surprised @ find posted online. can post/ask here , every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site can find before taking chance , losing money scammer.

7 "rules follow" avoid fake jobs:
1) job asks use personal bank/paypal account and/or open new one.
2) job asks print/mail/cash check or money order.
3) job asks use western union or moneygram in capacity.
4) job asks accept packages , re-ship them on anyone.
5) job asks pay visas, travel fees via western union or moneygram.
6) job asks sign credit reporting or identity verification site.
7) job asks post ads on ebay/craigslist or on forums advertising merchandise, programs or other websites

avoiding jobs mention of above listed 'red flags' , miss fake jobs. scammers ask of above. no. exceptions. ever. reason.

if google "fake job posting ads scam", "selling on ebay fraud western union" or similar, find hundreds of posts victims , near-victims of type of scam.
