Colors to make a room look bigger/brighter?

keep on changing mind color paint bedroom. rather large .. share sister makes seem half actual size. have window in middle of main wall lets in ton of natural light. make things short, need colors choose bedroom (including accent color, not need apply situation, color go main color.you feel me?) make feel/look more open , enhance natural lighting get? bigger , brighter?
