The porch light and the security light are on one switch. Neither are working with?
these things can puzzles. more frustrating. maybe few fresh ideas helpful. anyway, hope so.
first, check around gfci (ground fault circuit interrupter) on whatever branch circuit 2 lights on. this:

branch circuit because if thing wired whole circuit, kill on same breaker tripping. however, if part of circuit protected, might explain why you're getting results you're describing. anyway, if find one, reset it. means push reset button in middle of unit. see you, if anything. additionally, it's rare, once in while these things fail , require replacement.
next, check whether you've got power going across new switch put in. using voltmeter ($4 item @ harbor freight), test voltage between switched terminals. no power means problem elsewhere, or accidentally hooked wrong wires switch. if there no power going through switch, check power @ in box.
if still haven't got results, found power @ switch, check continuity on both sides of wires going switch lights. turn off power @ breaker when this, sure. if don't have continuity (an unbroken path electricity), start contemplating running new line, or finding break in old one.
1 more thing... works... power off, pull out on spring-like electrical contact inside bulb socket. you're making sure makes electrical contact bottom button of lead on base of bulb. however, odds against both fixtures having same problem, though.
these things no results, , i'll out of ideas. luck,
a new switch or new bulbs. circuit breaker has other things on still work. do next?
