Expresso machine or coffee machine?

time done buying proper espresso machine , grinder in $800-1000 minumum. went route, wanted decent espresso machine thinking $300 , set, yea once start doing research realize either cheap machine doesn't make real espresso or spend chunk of change proper machine , proper grinder (minimum level grinders espresso $2-400 , up).

if drinks foofy drinks(chocolate, vanilla latte...blah blah blah), might able kurig , buy here few bottles of syrup , stand alone milk frother , similar starbucks.

syrups fantastic gift. torani brand have kinds of flavors @ starbucks.

i want parents expresso machine since moms starbucks addict have coffee machine there difference?
