I have just bought farcry 3 for PC, how to i download it onto steam?

can't add steam library since far cry 3 isn't steamworks game.

can add "non-steam" game. enable launch game steam , use overlay/chat/web browser in game normal steam game.

in steam client in bottom left corner click "+ add game..." "add non-steam game..." select game list of installed programs , click "add selected programs".

if game doesn't appear in list browse directory , select game's .exe file.

patches, uplay handle patches , whenever start game check updates automatically.

i buy games steam, seeing farcry3 isnt on steam went , bought physical disk.
how onto steam libary of games? , how download future patches , things that, because steam automatically.
