What is the difference between weathering and erosion?


both of these natural processes, the difference forces involved in wearing away surface or material.

weathering when rock or rocky surface worn down due years of literally weather. precipitation such rain , hail, , other forces such wind, on long period of time of them hitting surface , getting blown on them, manage wear surface down.

erosion occurs in rivers, , when smaller pieces of rock or debris given force due water (in rivers) , wind, , bash against surface. after many years of constant bashing , rubbing of smaller particles against larger face, take away of surface being worn off, little sandpaper on wood.
