What are the better chances to survive , to be Hit by a train as you stand/jump on front or lie down on tracks?

depends upon mean 'survive'. if mean survive minor injuries, has happened very, few people: have been lucky enough slim, , have managed fall parallel rails @ point there enough clearance pilot beam pass on them without smearing them along tracks, , - above - have remained calm , not been hit of under-train equipment, hanging chains, hoses, cables, brake gear etc.

larger proportion survive, missing few limbs, internal organs , on, , wish dead. vast majority of people hit trains killed - perhaps not instantly, injuries severe cannot saved.

people commit suicide in way among thoughtless people: never consider randomly selecting poor b****** executioner - train driver. he/she has live fact rest of lives, , many never work again because of mental trauma.
