So confused: how to transfer music from ipod to macbook pro?

1. plug in ipod
2. open itunes
3. should see ipod name on left hand column. right click it.
4. menu pop up. select "back up".
have merry christmas!

p.s. takes information , adds computer. it's not erasing anything. work you.

my old computer got water damage , not turn on

have music on ipod (music i've downloaded , purchased)

have new computer
