What is the chance one of my turtles would eat some of the gravel in my tank?

have 2 yellow bellied sliders , have read , heard on youtube possible eat gravel @ bottom of tank. likelyhood of this, if anything? pieces of gravel small enough them fit in mouths suppose, dont think entire turtle race far not testing potentially kill them. wouldnt hungry enough scarf down small piece of without testing it, chewing on or whatever testing methods use when eating. gravel similar colour gammarus pellets eat, cold hard stones, in comparison, should seem nuclear waste turtle's keen senses, right? , can't regurgitate up?
