i've lived here on 35 years. have never been mugged. i've never had house broken into. i've never witnessed crime.

go out @ night lot. feel safe.

when first moved here inthe 1970s, when nyc more dangerous city, went out , had fun - , nothing bad ever happened me!!!! (of course, had more careful @ night time. more dangerous time then.)

today nyc safest big city in u.s. our crime rate on par boise, idaho - smaller city.

colleges, have elite schools, nyu , columbia. hae schools more average students, cuny colleges.

nothing wrong asking kind of thing @ 13. know likes , dislikes change lotion next few years. when you're ready college, may have different ideas want. there's nothing wrong finding out more nyc now.
