linguistically term agriculture comes combination of latin words agri (field) , cultura (cultivation). horticulture comes combination of latin words hortus (garden) , cultura. cultivating field vs. cultivating garden. can see implications of agriculture's mono-cropping primary succession plant obsession in origin. can see implications of horticulture's diversity of plants , smaller-scale style through origins....!!
