Sharp pain in the bottom left side of my back?

recently, breathe (like human) , take in air, sharp pain, needle going in quick hard poke , bam goes away, on left side of lower back. in area right below rib cage , above hip bone? pain not allow me complete deep breath , have hold breath until know wont hurt if breathe in more or suck , try go past pain , goes away when pass pain. pain lasts 15 seconds. , when breathe in, be? dad says cold weather why hurt in left side of lower back? helpful, thank you!
