Can a school force you to say the pledge?

have pledge of allegiance every day , hate it. think terrible make every day mindless robots. we've said many times words have lost meanings, hollow words every day. believe if want pledge, it. if don't want pledge, shouldn't have without meaning. think more effective if said on occasion, special, not mumbling every morning teacher yells @ speak up. i'm going through school had book trying find if says pledge. i'm not known being disobedient @ school , have never had detention or i'm bit nervous speak out (usually i'm quiet around teachers opinionated around friends) think should have freedom of speech. :/ (i'm in 8th grade, way.)
