vw says tranny fluid filled life , doesn't recommend changing it. think "lifetime" them 8 years. car older that.

change fluid , filter. $350-400 mechanic vws. leave overnight him can job right. trans has cold proper amount of fluid in it.

don"t put aftermarket additives in transmission. ever!! ruin it. guaranteed.

it has 130k on it, dont know if been replaced in past fluid black, told not replace fresh tran fluid, can ad lucas or kind of additive trany fluid give viscosity or put new tranny fluid in? worth it
