Is it ok if i leave my pc turned off for a year ?

computer not shutdown or restarted 5 months...i guess won't problem it's better leave tthe computer in sleep mode...and 1 thing why wanna leave pc 1 year ?
anyhow these precautions must take if don't wanna turn off pc
1)your main supply computer should grounded/earthed
2)you must use surge protector avoid high voltages due spikes/surges
3)you must data avoid data loss hard drives may fail when old (do data up)
4)finally, use ups (uninterruptible power supply)
oops misunderstand :d
no problem @ disconnect main ac supply mains fine
there should no problem disconnect main ac supply :)
luck take care :)

im travelling , come after 13 months , ok if leave pc off time ? example bad leave car off long time , pc ?
