Why does potassium permanganate disappear when titrated?

kmno4 purple ionic solution. contains k+ , mno4- ions. when titrate adding solution kmno4. breaks apart forces holding k+ , mno4- in solution. k+ ion bond part of whatever titrated with. mno4- reduced (gain electrons) , turn in mn2+. purple colour of kmno4 comes mno4- ion. since no longer have , have mn2+ (which colourless) appears if kmno4 has disapeared reaction decolourises (removes colour) solution.

when see reaction equation there isnt kmn04 mn04. whered k go?
