Why do I get butterflies in my stomach when with him?

i'm 18 , guy. have been friends couple of years have developed stronger feelings him. talk practically every day , everytime see him name butterflies. everytime see him butterflies. went meet him off train other day go uni open day him , seen him got butterflies. cold when out , kept hugging me thank , try warm me , again everytime touched me got butterflies! why this? there actual scientific reason butterflies!?!
