How can I naturally treat mites in my quaker parrot?

believe quaker parrot picked mites @ last extended stay @ vet. i'v washed there cages , toys hot soapy water , have been treating them mite spray got @ pet store. spent thousands on our last visit vet , cant afford go back. there way treat him naturally not rid him of mites protect him them in future?
