What is the difference between these two compounds? (nomenclature question)?

both of ester functional group.
ester made of carboxylic acid , alcohol. when naming ester part alcohol becomes alkyl group (first part of name) , carboxylic acid becomes oate bit.

propyl butanoate made propanol (3 carbon chain) , butanoic acid (4 carbon chain).
same next, it's opposite way round.

hope helped!
