What can i clean my rosewood neck with?

don't use alcohol, it's liable dissolve stain out of wood, drying out , making prone cracking.

traditional way repairmen clean fretboard 0000 (superfine) gauge steel wool, working grain. sure mask off magnetic pickups steel dust can't them , ruin them. lemon oil conditioning, not cleaning, , overusing oil can make fret slots spongy. rub few drops in soft cloth after clean board. never use machine oil, motor oil or wd-40.

can buy commercial fretboard cleaner-conditioners @ guitar stores.

i want use dunlop lemon oil want clean rosewood fretboard, have 70% alcohol , said works read forum , said causes cracking , dont know , need clean before tomorrow cuz got show play @ tomorrow! help!
