How do I get my 1 and a half yet old pitbull mix female to get along with another female in a pack?

pitbull mix in pack of 3 other dogs, move out , in order keep her, friend have board has male dog , female boston terrier. brought on 1 weekend test out waters , gets along boy, few times growl , bark @ layla, girl. not socialized unfortunately skidish , protective of me. noticed when in yard both dogs, hair standing up. never growled @ when outside inside when think being territorial , protective. how can females along?
