hello!! i've had old squier strat few years , love guitar, new 1 xmas

love van halen , eddie greatest influence. love guitarists him guitarists joe satriani, vai, etc. main blues influence srv

i'm looking @ $500 or (probably can't go higher)

love feel of strats general type i'm looking at, although might consider ibanez

i'm looking guitar can great tone kinda similar evh's (not complete copy though). love single coil tone of srv. nice clean tone well, not bright, kinda sparkly though. yeah, versatility :p

thinking hss config i'm no expert gear , pups, etc

know that's lot consider, didn't eliminate every possibility

ooh , 1 last thing, locking tremolo, or tremolo won't go way outta tune every time use it.
