Flute to alto or tenor sax?

hi, have cousin plays flute , wants play sax. , out, though i'd ask around bit. cousin has been playing flute year , wants double on sax side instrument broad genres of music (jazz, classical, , popular music mainly) can't decide if should play alto or tenor sax. she's not tall, she's 4'8/4'9 , she's 12 i'm wondering if she'll have trouble playing tenor...(?) , there's been major controversy reed instruments affecting flute embouchure , how tenor's embouchure better flutists...etc.
so...any help?

also, know she's played year practices , quick learner. (she plays piano if helps)
if 1 year isn't enough on flute, wait year play sax flute stuff down first because flute main instrument unless loves sax.

advice appreciated please don't tell me advice tell follow heart, etc. because has no clue @ 1 choose. , no, she's not going learn how play both saxes in future. receive lessons or might self teach, depends.
