Best places in Kolkata that a foreigner will love to see and some local travel information?

hi, friend russia visiting me in kolkata during first week of january.
1) 5 or 6 best things take see? museums, other historical places, traditional food places etc ?
2) please name them , if it's not trouble, tell me addresses , how there? (i have not been living in kolkata long time, memory kind of faded).
3) there such system/special passes in kolkata allows buy passes , can ride next 2 3 days pass? how taxi/cab fare in kolkata?
